Having sorely missed our annual in-person meeting in 2020, we were delighted to be able to host The European Base Oils & Lubricants Summit last November and it was fantastic to spend two days in the company of all those who made it to Rotterdam. Chaired by Sharbel Luzuriaga of Kline on Day One & Boris Zhmud of Binol Lubricants on Day Two, the 2021 event included presentations including “The Road to Sustainable Mobility: Implications for the Finished Lubricant Market”, “Group I Replacement Strategies: The Role of Naphthenics” & “Base Oil Markets Through the Covid-19 Pandemic and Beyond” as well as a lively panel discussion entitled “An Internal Examination of the 2021 European Base Oils & Lubricants Industry”.
We have assembled a fantastic Content Committee to work with us across all our platforms this year including, of course, The 2022 European Base Oils & Lubricants Summit. Shana Kaur, which we are now excited to announce will take place over the 16th & 17th November 2022 in Lisbon, Portugal.
I am sure you are already aware that we launched our online series (https://www.wplgroup.com/aci/event/european-base-oils-and-lubricants-online-series/) in January 2021 to allow us to continue to bring valuable content and networking to the industry during the pandemic. In March 2022 we also launched Base Oils & Lubes Connect, the online community for the global base oils & lubricants industry. This is an invitation-only space for industry professionals and experts to meet (text chat/message & video call), discuss hot topics in real-time with industry peers and see exclusive interviews amongst other benefits.
If you would like more information or are interested in joining or getting involved in any of our activities in the base oils and lubricants arena please do get in touch and let us know.
