Shell Catalysts & Technologies exists to provide Shell and non-Shell businesses with the tools, technologies and insights that are needed to navigate the energy transition. We are pushing boundaries in the energy transition space. For decades, we have been developing game-changing technological innovations to help solve challenges that were previously thought to be unsolvable. Now we have, or are developing, a wide range of differentiated solutions that offer attractive decarbonisation opportunities, including biofuels, carbon capture and decarbonised (blue) hydrogen technologies.

What sets us apart is the knowledge we have gained from Shell’s corporate heritage as the operator of refineries and petrochemical plants around the world. It also gives us a unique perspective on how refiners can remain competitive as, for example, demand for transport fuel declines.

Our world-class catalyst and research and development expertise has enabled us to establish an enviable track record for developing leading-edge zeolites and catalysts, advanced solvents and pioneering processes, and provides a strong foundation for our future technology development.

Highly complex business and technological challenges lie ahead for the sector. But, with ingenuity, technical prowess and – crucially – collaboration, we can overcome them: Together, we can shape the energy landscape.

The Price Companies is the largest independent wood processing company in the U.S., with a capacity over 30 million tons per year. We source and process biomass into whatever form is needed to meet the specifications and volume requirements for large scale operations. Our goal is to help determine the best region to source material for your project, build our processing facility, and deliver a raw material to you that is both economical and verifiably sustainable.
Various biomass projects are constrained by their unique regulatory, logistic, and technological restrictions. While these issues add complexity, they often allow for potential synergies with traditional wood consumers. Our knowledge base allows us to find those opportunities for customers that improve the economics while further reducing the carbon intensity of their project.
Additionally, we own a precision agriculture company, a timber & ag landholding company, and a JV in a high efficiency ag irrigation business. Our entire team is dedicated to providing sustainable solutions for our customers in the forestry and agriculture sectors.

The eFuel Alliance is an interest group committed to promoting political and social acceptance of eFuels and to securing their regulatory approval. We represent more than 170 companies, associations and consumer organizations along the eFuel production value chain. We stand for fair competition and equal competitive condition for all relevant emission reduction solutions. We are firmly committed to further climate change mitigation and seek recognition for the significant part eFuels can play in sustainability and climate protection. Our aim is to create the conditions for the industrial production and widespread use of CO2-neutral fuels from renewable sources of energy.

CO2 Value Europe (CVE) is an international non-profit association representing the Carbon Capture and Utilisation (CCU) community in Europe and beyond with a mission to promote the development of a circular carbon economy based on CO2 to reduce greenhouse gas emissions and to move away from fossil.

The association brings together more than 90 pioneer members across Europe covering the entire CO2 value chain (incl. multinational companies, SMEs, start-ups and regional clusters, research institutions, and universities), who share the belief that CCU technologies are pivotal in supporting the EU reach its climate targets, especially for the hard-to-abate sectors.

Our mission is to promote the development and market deployment of sustainable industrial solutions that convert CO2 into valuable products (materials, fuels, or chemicals), to contribute to the net reduction of global CO2 emissions, and to substitute fossil carbon with CO2 as feedstock. We envision a future in which CCU becomes an integral element of the transition to a sustainable economy, being of benefit to the climate, the economy, and the people. CCU technologies should not substitute large-scale efforts to prevent greenhouse gas emissions and develop more sober solutions, on the contrary, our vision is that all solutions should be combined wisely in considering the timescale of their impact, their mitigation potential based on life-cycle analysis, and the most efficient use of energy and resources.

CO2 Value Europe is also engaged in the communication and dissemination work in six EU-funded projects, within the framework of the Horizon 2020 and the Horizon Europe research and innovation programmes. In addition, it is a member of the Advisory Boards of several EU and national projects.

Its Scientific Advisory Committee comprises scientists covering a wide range of expertise related to CCU and ensures that the association’s messages and activities are based on solid and objective scientific evidence.
