Future of Polyolefins 2024

Date: 17th January 2024 - 18th January 2024 Location: Antwerp - Belgium

Polyolefins, including polyethylene (PE) and polypropylene (PP), are ubiquitous in our everyday lives, serving as the backbone of numerous industries. From packaging materials to automotive components, construction materials to healthcare applications, polyolefins are integral to our modern world. As we look ahead, it becomes increasingly crucial to address the evolving needs of these industries and pave the way for a sustainable and innovative future.

ACI’s 10th Future of Polyolefins 2024 conference will be taking place on the 17th & 18th January 2024 in Antwerp, Belgium. The two-day event will bring together industry leaders, researchers, innovators, and stakeholders from around the world and aims to explore the exciting advancements, challenges, and opportunities shaping the future of the polyolefins industry. The 10th Future of Polyolefins conference will serve as a platform for thought-provoking discussions, knowledge sharing, and collaboration among a diverse range of businesses.

Presentations at the event will look into challenges and opportunities in chemical & mechanical recycling, novel manufacturing methods to improve sustainability and maintain end product versatility, looking into updates with PPWR and design for recyclability (D4R) and much more.

UniSieve’s mission is to decarbonize heavy-emitting industries via membrane solutions. Today, 10% of the world’s energy consumption is due to separation and purification, which mostly depends on thermal processes. By avoiding heat or cold, the UniSieve solution saves up to 90% of process energy compared to alternative technology. This enables energy and chemical companies to recover valuable chemicals or energy carriers that, in the worst case, must be burnt. Also, efficient separation enables affordable CO2 capture from flue gas. The UniSieve solution can be used as an add-on unit to debottleneck or optimize existing assets or can be integrated into grassroots processes. Flexible testing units are available to demonstrate the value generation for specific assets.
