OceanScore provides emissions- and sustainability-data to the wider maritime ecosystem, driving shipping’s transformation to net-zero. Combining engineering and datascience, our solutions offer unique insights into the emissions and sustainability of more than 100.000 commercial vessels. Given our datacentric approach with global coverage, OceanScore uniquely provides these emissions- and sustainability data for the entire global fleet. Our solutions include benchmarks, that can be tailored to target specific trades, territorial waters, individual ports or terminals.
Typical usecases include the provision of CO2 footprints for entire portfolios of banks or insurances, the assessments of emissions in a port / port area as basis for a data based sustainability strategy and consequently the tracking of these data over time, benchmarks vs. comparable ports, ship managers, ….
We strongly believe that while shipping remains the most environmentally efficient way of transport, the 1 billion tons of CO2 emitted annually can be tackled most effectively by transparency and cross sector collaboration. We provide the unbiased, high quality data on which to base this collaboration.
OceanScore is based in Hamburg/Germany and on Madeira/Portugal and serves leading players in a wide range of segments, including shipping itself, ports, banks, P&I clubs, freight forwarders and cargo owners.
