Every year on average 200 ships of virtually all types, including the largest varieties which can enter the Baltic are repaired and modernized at the yard. The company converts tankers to shuttle tankers, FPSO or FSO units, heavy-lift vessels and well stimulation vessels. The shipyard has modernized a dozen or so offshore units – drilling, extraction, production, accommodation, semi-submersible, and jack-up platforms.

Remontowa also specializes in conversions of ro-ro ships and car-passenger ferries enlarging their cargo capacities and adapting their propulsion systems to use pro-ecological fuels such as LNG or methanol. It’s also a European leader in scrubber retrofits and BWT systems installations on ships.

The shipyard owns six floating docks and two semi-submersible barges for docking offshore platforms and other heavy objects. The barges have lifting capacity of up to 24.000 and 25.000 tonnes respectively.

The ships up to 297m long and 44,04m wide can be dry-docked at the yard, although for repaires not requiring docking even larger ships – up to 300m of LOA can moore at the shipyard’s 6.000m quayside, over half of which is fully equipped with cranage and media facilities.

Remontowa S.A. provides a full package for shipowners. Complex solutions start from consultancy and include a design, an entire project implementation, procurement, installation in one place and delivery.
