Wellness – April 2020 Vol. 1

As many people around the globe are displaced from normalcy, we want to check in to ensure you and those you love are safe and healthy, both physically and mentally. We developed this check-in to be a source of encouragement and help, as we await our return to what we love, and are wishing you the best during these trying times. So please, take a deep breath, relax, and enjoy a few articles that have helped us through the past week!

"Being stuck indoors due to the Coronavirus outbreak means you need a bit of imagination to keep fit. Here are some ideas to help stay in shape wherever you are!"

"The coronavirus is presenting new and unique challenges. We are navigating unchartered waters with this virus, making it important to find new ways to work and interact while also taking care of our mental health and well-being."

"A new study conducted by University of Virginia cardiovascular medicine professor Dr. Zhen Yan suggests regular exercise can reduce a person’s risk of contracting deadly health complications, such as the coronavirus."

"We asked Dr. Megan Roche, a running coach, medical doctor, and epidemiology researcher to provide recommendations based on current guidelines (as of today) on how you can make sure to keep active, fit and healthy during this global emergency."

After reading these articles, we hope you’ve been able to find inspiration to keep active and healthy, and before we know it, we will be back to watching our favorite players back in arenas and on courses. We look forward to seeing you at our future events!
