For more than a century, Newport Country Club has stood the test of time as one of the most historic golf clubs in the entire country. The site of the very first U.S. Open and U.S. Amateur in 1895, this historic club will add to its list of hosted championships when the U.S. Senior Open Championship comes to Rhode Island for the first time ever!

Since its inception in 1980, the U.S. Senior Open has grown into one of the most exciting golf tournaments in the world, with a legendary list of winners over the years. The 2024 edition will be wide open, with former Major winners Mike Weir, Stewart Cink, Padraig Harrington, Ernie Els, Jim Furyk, Darren Clarke and David Duval all eligible to participate, joining Tour stalwarts Steve Stricker, Bernhard Lager and many more!
