2012 Ryder Cup Matches

In 1925 a group of Chicago Shriners played the first round of golf on Medinah Course #1. The Shriners had originally commissioned famous Scottish golf architect named Thomas Bendelow to build Medinah, as we know it today and create their dream of a country club. They succeeded and since its inception, Medinah has played host to 13 significant golf tournaments including one Senior Open, two PGA Championships and three U.S. Opens. Tournament winners include legendary names such as Gene Sarazen, Lord Byron Nelson, Gary Player, and two time winner Tiger Woods. 2012 will see Medinah’s first ever Ryder Cup and we can’t think of any better place to be that fall!
