2012 Marks the 73rd anniversary of the NCAA Basketball Championship. In 1939, the Oregon Ducks (known as the “Tall Firs”) beat the Ohio State Buckeyes in the first ever NCAA Championship, hosted by Northwestern University in Evanston, IL. Thus was born the love affair Americans have with college basketball that begins anew each March. In 2012, the NCAA Tournament returns to New Orleans as the 68 best teams in the land will have been whittled down to the final set of four who will battle to be crowned Champion.  The purity of this event is the definition of sport and thus it has become one of the most coveted and sought after experiences in the sports world.
