In the last six months, we have seen many sports events either postponed, canceled, or played without spectators. Although this void was previously unimaginable, and is now seemingly unending, the beginning of in-person viewing of live sports may be closer than you realize.
The Kansas City Chiefs play their season opener against the Houston Texans with fans on September 10th. To ensure guest health & safety, the Chiefs have implemented an array of safety measures for fans ahead of the first game, but spectators will be there, live and in-person to enjoy the game. The reduced capacity will actually afford an enhanced experience for those in attendance and help build the road map for re-openings to come. As more and more stadiums, clubs, leagues, and associations implement these types of safety measures, the foundation is created so in-person attendance can safely be resumed.
Sports have always been a catalyst for bringing people together – so as safety protocols become more standard, we will be able to connect with one another again in a fun, safe way that allows us to nurture the most important relationships. At ISM, we are excited to be a part of helping build these bridges.
