ISM Welcomes Steve Sands!

ISM is thrilled to welcome back Steve Sands of the Golf Channel, who will be joining our guests in advance of the 2018 BMW Championship in Newtown Square, PA!

Steve Sands joined the network in 2001, bringing nearly a decade of sports broadcasting experience with him to the Golf Channel. Sands anchors Golf Central and Golf Central Pre Game and reports on-site from PGA Tour events and golf’s major championships as part of the network’s Live From telecasts. Steve is a lead interviewer and a hole announcer on PGA TOUR telecasts for Golf Channel and the lead interviewer for Golf Channel on NBC since 2010. He also works as an occasional play-by-play host for PGA TOUR telecasts, and participates in the network’s coverage of the Drive, Chip and Putt Championship. In 2014, Sands contributed to NBC’s speed skating coverage at the Winter Olympics in Sochi.

A native of Washington, D.C., Sands began his career as a cable television station sports anchor and reporter while in college at Colorado State University. Prior to joining the Golf Channel Sands was a sports anchor/reporter in Utica, N.Y., Richmond, Virginia, and Orlando, Florida.
