After a winning drought in 2017, Jason Day appears to be back on his game after locking in a 2-stroke victory at the Wells Fargo Championship at Quail Hollow last weekend! This year has seen Day gain consistency at landing closer to the pin, allowing him to leverage his putting skills, which worked in his favor last weekend. As we mentioned previously, the Green Mile can make or break a scorecard, and that held true last Sunday, with Day carding a birdie on 16 and 17, and par on 18.
With the win at the Wells Fargo Championship, Day has earned his second Tour win of 2018 (his first back in January at the Farmers Insurance Open at Torrey Pines), and his 12th career Tour win. This makes him the youngest Aussie with 12 Tour wins and a Major, all while under 30 years old! Congratulations Jason, we’re looking forward to watching you at the Players Championship!
