AT Agrar-Technik Int. GmbH

“NO LIMITS TO FFA”

AT’s biodiesel technology offers to its clients clear advantages over other methods with respect to the reduction of GHG emissions from biodiesel production permitting the use of a wide variety of first and second generation fat- and veg oil-based feedstock (MULTI-FEEDSTOCK). Since 1982 AT is a globally active full-service engineering firm serving markets in the oleochemical industries. AT’s service portfolio ranges from technology consulting to the preparation of classical engineering studies (basic and detail engineer-ing), delivery of equipment and mechanical and electrical installation work including programming and process control. AT provides custom-tailored solutions and equipment for the oleochemical industry (biodiesel, fatty acids, pharmaceutical glycerol, glyceride products) and offers applications for the production of e.g. special esters and glyceride products, as well as for the extraction of valuable veg-oil-derived components such as tocopherols, squalenes etc.. Another main business fields is retrofitting of existing bio-diesel and glycerol production facilities. This includes MULTI-FEEDSTOCK-processes to convert virtually all veg oils and animal fats containing anything up to 100% FFA into their methyl esters in full conformity with stringent standards such as EN14214 and ASTM D6751. AT’s portfolio also includes processes for the chemical and/or thermal pre-treatment of oils and animal fats (e.g. AT’s patent (EP1183225) on what has come to be known as the “DADM“ process” (De-Acidification & De-Moisturing), degumming of crude veg oils; extraction of sterol glycosides…) or distillation and fractionation of me-thyl esters.
