Building on the success of Lignofuels 2024 which brought 150+ senior level industry professionals to Helsinki in February 2024, we are delighted to be returning to Finland for the 5th consecutive year for the 2025 edition of the conference, taking place on 12th & 13th February 2025 in Helsinki, Finland. The conference will once again bring together key lignofuels and advanced biofuels and materials stakeholders to join our forum discussions and networking, including leaders from advanced generation biofuels companies from across the globe represented by Technical, Strategic and Business Development Executives from First and Advanced Generation Biofuels Producers, Oil Refiners, Process Technology Providers, Enzyme Developers, Engineering Firms and Agribusiness as well as Financiers, Investors, Policy & Regulators, Automotive & Aviation Industries, Consultants, Traders & Brokers and Chemical Companies representing the entire value chain of the industry.

Exclusive VTT Bioruukki Pre-Conference Site Visit:

During the afternoon of Tuesday,  11th February 2025, a day prior to the conference, a limited number of conference delegates will have the unique opportunity to join VTT Bioruukki Pilot Centre.

Bioruukki is one of Europe’s largest open access pilot facilities, with a unique combination of pilot-scale process development units and R&D services. Customers interested in valorization of waste materials into sustainable products or looking for new business opportunities through scale-up can test different solutions and generate data to support investment decision-making. The facility’s areas of expertise include thermochemical conversions, industrial chemistry, hydrometallurgy, biomass processing and biomaterials. With all the necessary modelling and piloting capability under one roof, VTT Bioruukki delivers optimal solutions from initial development to end products.

There is no extra charge to join the site visit, although the number of places is limited and allocated to the conference delegates on a first-come first-served basis. Therefore, we would strongly recommend you to book your place early to avoid disappointment.
