North America’s renewable natural gas industry is entering a decisive new phase. Production capacity continues to expand, but progressing projects now depends on credible demand, bankable offtake, competitive economics, and stronger collaboration between producers, buyers, investors, and infrastructure partners.
Taking place in Houston, Texas, on 7th and 8th April 2027, ACI’s Future of RNG North America 2027 will examine how the industry can unlock new demand, rebuild project economics, and prepare for the next RNG growth cycle.
The conference will explore opportunities across municipal and utility procurement, industrial decarbonization, heavy duty transport, maritime applications, data centers, and international markets. Industry leaders will assess which demand channels offer realistic commercial potential and how RNG, bio LNG, methanol, sustainable aviation fuel, renewable diesel, and other conversion pathways could provide greater flexibility and long term value.
Discussions will also address the practical challenges affecting project development and investment. Key themes include capital availability, environmental credit markets, carbon accounting, certification, feedstock strategy, fueling infrastructure, technology selection, plant performance, and the additional revenue available from digestate, fertilizers, and other biorefinery products. The programme will examine how developers can reduce costs, bridge funding gaps, progress projects through FEED and final investment decisions, and prepare for changing tax credit and investment conditions.
Future of RNG North America 2027 will bring together RNG producers, project developers, utilities, municipalities, waste and agricultural businesses, fleet operators, industrial buyers, maritime companies, data center operators, gas suppliers, traders, technology providers, infrastructure developers, investors, financiers, policymakers, and sustainability specialists.
Through expert presentations, interactive discussions, practical case studies, and senior level networking, attendees will gain the insights and connections needed to strengthen their strategies, identify credible buyers, secure partnerships, and turn North America’s evolving RNG demand landscape into practical projects and transactions.
