The central theme of RE³ is Circular Economy. Focus is on a future-oriented and responsible handling of the valuable material plastic. But RE³ also wants to accompany the social discussion about sustainability and climate protection beyond the borders of the plastics industry with professional competence and background knowledge.

RE³ is aimed at employees, service providers and producers in the plastics industry, as well as customers and consumers. The content focus of the reporting is on solutions the industry develops – new products, technical developments and information about companies providing systemic solutions. RE³ provides a factual classification of terms, facts and contexts relating to plastics.

RE³ appears four times a year in German and English in print and online.

MAPPING is a NET of professionals working in different organizations like experts in the field of materials, processes and plants, Universities, Public and Private Companies. MAPPING offer services to companies, as a consultant in the areas of innovation and environmental management, strategy and communication. Our core business is the creation of skills and support in the implementation of methodologies and metrics for assessing environmental sustainability of Materials, Processes and Plants with one Goal: environmental Innovation measurable with LCA methodology. The market, and the companies that operate in it, need not only to innovate but to be able to communicate transparently by quantifying their progress in the field of environmental sustainability: we support them with qualified methodology and tools. However, we believe that our work alone is not enough; for this reason, we carry out an important training activity to build skills within the company, people who can make innovation a methodology for continuous improvement.

We started years ago sharing technical problems and at the same time knowledge and solutions. By the years we created an «informal NET». The majority of our works are reserved and cannot be published, due to the confidentiality agreements, but still we can share a great number of «lessons learned». In 2020 we decided to make the informal net visible through a web site and open it to contribution from other colleagues.

Today we develop very challenging projects for very large companies and it’s a great satisfaction. We learned a very important lesson: if you know how to listen to your customer’s needs, they will show you how to maximize the services you can offer.

We offer companies with very different options, tools and service, but they all relate to innovation and strategy. In fact, those who contact MAPPING more often work in the top management. They heard about sustainability, LCA and eco-design and ask us to develop a specific project for them. Regarding the gaps, a common denominator is the lack of skills and basic technical knowledge.
Our commitment is to help them bridge that gap.
