The TEXINFINE group, consisting of three different entities, ICP Ltd. Malta, ICP-TEXINFINE, France and TEXINFINE TAHITI, French Polynesia, is dedicated to the discovery and validation of bioactive, plant derived extracts. Over 37 years, the group has developed a strong expertise for extract preparation, characterization and purification as well as in-vitro validation of the resulting natural active principles. Research directed by the owner and Pasteur Medal winner Gilles Gutierrez surrounded by his multidisciplinary team has led to a wide portfolio of bioactive, natural extracts and the creation of a range of BIOMIMETIC REGULATORS® for human food supplements, cosmetic ingredients and veterinary applications. The unique approach of the TEXINFINE group is based on the concept of the phylogenetic compatibility of highly conserved physiological metabolisms between plants and animals. This approach links crucial physiological processes to a common evolutionary ancestor, thereby allowing for novel, universally applicable treatment approaches, utilizing biomimetic molecules. Extensive research in collaboration with universities as well as private and governmental organizations, has led to the proof of this concept and highlighted the potential of TEXINFINE patented natural extracts in the aquaculture sector for growth enhancement, stress management and disease prevention.
