Dr Kumar Avadh
Dr Kumar Avadh is a researcher in the field of civil engineering, with a Master’s degree from IIT Kanpur, India, and a PhD from the University of Tokyo in Japan. For the past six years, he has made Japan his home, where he works as a research engineer at the Kajima Technical Research Institute. His work focuses primarily on the development and application of CO2-SUICOM technology in precast concrete products to enable a more sustainable construction industry. Working with precast concrete manufacturers, he is committed to optimizing the early carbonation curing process for concrete products to improve both their durability and structural integrity. He is also actively involved in developing technology to carbonate recycled concrete sludge powder for reuse in new concrete applications.
