OEMs Challenges 2030 and beyond

As many of us are aware, the transportation industry is at an important crossroads: globalization, electrification, technology development, ongoing regulatory change and growth in emerging markets are set to change the face of the industry in the next decade. The plant, owned by eni, is installed on an area of ​​about 150 hectares. It has a refining capacity of 84,000 barrels / day and mainly produces gasoline, diesel, fuel oil for bunkering and lubricating bases. In addition to the distillation plants, it has two lubricant production lines.

Over the years it has been subject to several upgrades, the last of which in 2009, with the construction of the hydrocracking plant. The Taranto refinery supplies the petroleum product market in South-East Italy.
