INSPIRATIONAL LEADER 2022 AWARD WINNER ANNOUNCEMENT

ACI would like to thank everybody who submitted nominations for the Women in Focus Inspirational Leader 2022 Award. We received a record number of nominations from across Europe, North America, South America and Asia.

We were delighted to read all the positive comments in the nominations and everybody fully deserves the recognition they have received by being nominated by their colleagues. As always, however, there can only be one winner and the comment that swayed it was the following: “Every day she inspires me to know how to become an appreciated and successful woman leader in the company.” We believe it is also worth mentioning that our winner was nominated by no fewer than nine of her team members past and present. We have also been informed that she has achieved her professional success whilst raising two wonderful children.

We are, therefore, delighted to announce the winner of Base Oil & Lubes Connect’s Inspirational Leader 2022 Award as Giuseppina Pisaniello. Giuseppina is the Head of Additives and Specialties at Eni Energy Evolution-Sustainable Mobility. With a background in Chemical Engineering, she began her career at Eni 28 years ago in the R&D of Lubricants, collecting since then an extensive experience in lubricants. After and extensive experience in technical roles (Automotive lubricants development, Base Oil Refining technologies coordinator and Head of development and technical assistance of oil products), in 2011 she moved to commercial roles as Head of Overseas Lubricant and base oil sales and, since 2016, she is acting as the Head of the whole business of Eni Additives and Special products like Waxes, RPO and special fuels. In the last years she has been also leading the development of the sales of pure HVO biofuel produced by Eni. Currently member of the Board of Directors of Eni Lubricant trading Shanghai and of Costiero Gas, she is also the Non-executive Chairman of Arezzo Gas. Former member of Eni USA and of some JV in the field of lubricants or technologies (Singapore, Ghana, Venice).
