Nextek confirmed to speak at European Masterbatch Summit

ACI is pleased to announce Nextek as Speaker during our European Masterbatch Summit taking place in Dusseldorf, Germany, on the 15th & 16th of May 2019.

Join us at the conference presentation entitled: Recent Developments in NIR Detectable Black Pigment Systems to hear from Edward Kosior – Managing Director – NEXTEK. Edward will address the following points:

– The challenge of making NIR detectable pigment systems for black and other colours
– Testing protocol for detectability
– Why some NIR detectable pigments don’t work in real sorting situations

Edward Kosior has been an innovator and academic in Plastics and Rubber technology for the past 40 years. He is the Managing Director of NEXTEK Ltd that was established in 2004 which provides technical advisory services to brand-owners and recycling companies, designs recycling plants for food-grade plastics and develops novel technologies for the plastics packaging industry.

He holds several patents for recycling processes and is Honorary Professor, at the Wolfson Centre for Material Processing, Brunel University London.
