WBA is a global organization working to promote the sustainable development of biomass globally and to support business environment for bioenergy. Apart from day to day activities of the organization, Bhardwaj is handling various projects related to setting up branch offices, sustainability verification, biofuels working groups etc. he is also the author and contributor of bioenergy publications including bioenergy chapter for World Energy Resources, Global bioenergy statistics report, REN21 Global Status Reports etc. He completed his Master of Science degree in Sustainable Energy Systems and has a background in Chemical Engineering. His area of expertise includes life cycle analysis, liquid biofuels, and bioenergy statistics.
