STERISYS is a young and dynamic company offering an outstanding solution portfolio in two different domains: Industrial Sterilisation Equipment and Automatic Handling Systems for Pre-filled Syringes.

STERISYS is European market leader in the area of industrial sterilisation with their leading technology and advanced solutions designed for the medical devices producers and contract sterilisation organisations. STERISYS is not a mere manufacturer but a systems integrator supplying turnkey solutions. Their holistic approach towards sterilisation systems is what differentiates them from other players in the industry.

In the industrial pharmaceutical sector, STERISYS develops, markets and supplies Krysalid®, an innovative solution to resolve the problems encountered with handling, transfer and transport of nest-and-tub pre-fillable syringes.

The Krysalid® system does not focus on a specific application for automation, but in finding a global solution to handle nest-and-tub configured products. Pre-fillable systems are usually very difficult and tedious to handle manually. They are applied in multiple situations (transfer to working stations, inspection machines, terminal sterilisers, etc.) and have slightly different shapes depending on the manufacturer. The solution to all these variables is based on combining the nest-and-tub support elements with specific patented devices to facilitate the interface with both humans and robots. By using these devices, the handling operation is gentle and the products (syringes, vials) will be safe from risk.

The emergence of a new player like STERISYS in the Pre-Filled Syringes domain, in close cooperation with the syringe manufacturers, drug manufacturers and equipment suppliers, will offer a world of new possibilities to achieve the growth expectations within this industry.
