North American Dredging Summit

Date: 8th February 2017 - 9th February 2017 Location: Houston - Texas - USA

Overcoming Environmental & Legislative Constraints and Advancing Dredging Technology

ACI’s North American Dredging Summit follows on from the successful European editions of ACI’s Dredging Summit series. With the ongoing operational and technical challenges in dredging project management in the international dredging industry, as well as the considerable regulations in place, this event will aim to discuss the key factors necessary in order to facilitate growth and competitiveness in the US Dredging Market.

With an evenly balanced focus of technical, commercial, environmental and case study based topics, this event is a prime opportunity to network and learn with senior level decision makers in the Americas Dredging Industry. Topics to be reviewed include the latest technology advancements on the US market to increase dredging productivity for more cost effective operations. Furthermore, the delegates and speakers will also host talks on the Jones’ Act, as well as key regulatory and legislation challenges of operating in US waters. We will further discuss the challenges in Health & Safety hazard analysis in order to eliminate or control hazards during the dredging projects, and an objective look at the benefits global dredging techniques would have on the American dredging market.

The two day conference will consist of a number of informative presentations followed by an interactive Q&A session, panel discussions which will give a deep insight on the views shared from the different aspects of dredging and open discussion to further involve the delegates.

Taking part in the summit will undoubtedly allow participants to increase their understanding of dredging operation in order to maximise their business potential.
