Global and European biostimulant market has grown significantly over past few years. With increased direction from the authorities and growing demand for sustainable agriculture it is certain that biostimulant market will continue to experience remarkable growth. ACI is delighted to announce the second Biostimulants Europe Conference. Biostimulants Europe returns to Spain, on this occasion taking place in Valencia, on the 17th and 18th of January 2018.

The two day event will bring together key industry stakeholders from the biostimulants industry to discuss the challenges faced and the future opportunities. Conference will discuss the current overview of the markets, with highlights from experts on the progression of the biostimulants market and new insights and innovation of projects in pipeline.

The conference will also have insights from end-use markets giving updates on market growth drivers along with sustainable advancements in technologies and R&D projects. Join us in Valencia to meet senior representatives from leading companies for excellent networking opportunities.

BIOVEGEN: Spanish Technology Platform for Plant Biotechnology

BIOVEGEN is a public-private partnership, led by the business sector, which brings together entities from the agrifood sector with an interest in R&D&i in applied Plant Biology:

The European Biostimulants Industry Council (EBIC) was formed in June 2011 to foster the role of the biostimulants sector in helping agriculture to produce more with less. To do this, EBIC advocates an operating environment that creates a truly European market for biostimulants and recognises their contribution to sustainable agricultural production, green innovation, economic growth and other European Union (EU) policy objectives.

Membership is open to biostimulant producers active in Europeinterested in cooperating in areas of common interest.

EBIC provides:

  • A platform for biostimulants producers to discuss points of common interest relating to, but not limited to, technical questions, regulatory issues, public and stakeholder relations and other non-commercial matters;
  • A voice for the biostimulants sector in Europe;
  • Information and expertise on the specificities of biostimulants to European authorities and other relevant stakeholders;
  • Information about the sector that is relevant for the public policy makers and the general public.

The Biostimulant Coalition is a non-profit group of interested parties cooperating to proactively address regulatory and legislative issues involving biological or naturally-derived additives and / or similar products, including but not limited to bacterial or microbial inoculants, biochemical materials, amino acids, humic acids, fulvic acid, seaweed extract and other similar materials.


Swissbiotech started as a joint project by various partners in 2005. The aim of this portal is the presentation of resources, services and companies in Biotechnology in related fields of Life Sciences. The leading partner is the Swiss Biotech Association. The day-to-day management is executed by Bridge Plus AG and the web center (part of ZHAW). Bridge Plus AG also manages the Swiss Biotech Association. The site and intends to present easy access and awareness for the sector.


The British Society for Plant Pathology (BSPP) was founded in 1981 for the study and advancement of plant pathology. The BSPP welcomes members from all over the world and from all branches of plant pathology. We support the professional interests of plant pathologists worldwide and provide information and communicate with our members via a newsletter, website and annual meeting. We organise regular scientific meetings, edit three international pathology journals and make funds available to members for both travel expenses and short term undergraduate and masters level studentships.
