Key LPG Regions: Current and Future Market Status

Tom Nash will discuss “International supply & demand trends and its impact on European LPG Markets”, focusing on: 

• International supply & demand trends: future production capacities and demand outlets

• Price outlook – entering a ‘new normal’?

• Shipping supply and demand outlook – the VLGC segment

Tom joined the NGL/LPG Consulting team in April 2014 and focuses on shipping, fleet development and vessel movements. He is responsible for developing supply and demand balances for the major LPG shipping segments as well as developing Poten’s proprietary shipping economics and freight forecast models. Tom has worked on several key single client consulting projects and is a regular contributor to Poten’s monthly publication LPG in World Markets. Tom has a BA Hons degree in Modern Languages from the University of Cardiff and is currently undertaking professional qualification exams at the Institute of Chartered Shipbrokers (ICS).  

Guray Isikguner will present some insights into LPG Market in Turkey, discussing:

• Black Sea restrictions

• Turkish LPG Market

• East Med dynamics

Güray Işıkgüner started his career at Aygaz A.Ş. in 2005. He was responsible for all LPG supply and trade activities covering remarkable volume in the east med and black sea. Then he moved to Petrol Ofisi, the second largest private sector company of Turkey owning 1.700 stations all around Turkey where he worked in different positions as LPG Import Manager, Import Manager and Import&Risk Manager. He is now managing all the supply and risk activities for all products including LPG in Petrol Ofisi.
